This Walls line seems to have originated in Scotland, immigrated to New Brunswick Canada, and then immigrated to the United States. The earliest Walls ancestor I know of, John Walls, was born in Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada. I am speculating the Scotland connection from information I found in the 1881 Canadian Census for one of John's children's family that lists thier religion as "Church of Scotland".
